You may find it useful to study the house layout when organising rooms for your visit. Below are floor plans for the ground, first and second floors of the house.

Ground Floor

  • Front entrance and Vestibule.

  • Sitting Room - bright south facing room with bay window seat, open fire and tv/dvd.

  • Drying/Boot Room - recently created to provide hanging/storage for coats/boots/luggage/buggies. Designed so that walking/ski-wear will dry quickly - in time to get you back up the mountains.

  • Kitchen - brand new stylish kitchen/diner incorporating a large breakfast bar, dining table and two cooking/washing stations. Appliances include fridge/freezer, larder fridge, commercial dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, range cooker with two ovens and large gas hob and second cooker with oven/electric hob.

  • Family Room - informal lounge area adjoining the kitchen.

  • Dining Room - formal dining area with seating for 20 people.

  • Sun room/Games room - large sunny space for the kids to play with the many toys and books available.

  • Bedroom 1 - large en suite room, which can be either a kingsize or twin room. Potentially suitable for disabled access - contact us to discuss your access requirements.

  • Downstairs W.C.

First Floor

  • Drawing room - spacious formal bay windowed lounge with 4 large sofas, open fire, games, books, cd player and cd library.

  • Family Bathroom - facilities for bedroom 2 and bedroom 9 (which are not en suite) - bath, shower, sink and toilet.

  • Bedroom 2 - the smallest of the bedrooms, this is ideal for children. However this room does have a bunk bed with a double bunk below and a single bunk above so can also be used comfortably by 2 adults or a family.

  • Bedroom 3 - en suite double room with shower.

  • Bedroom 4 - south facing en suite room with twin beds (can be converted into a kingsize) and shower room.

  • Bedroom 5 - south facing kingsize room  with en suite bathroom with shower and bath.

  • Bedroom 6 - en suite twin/kingsize (zip-link beds) room with shower.

Second Floor

  • Bedroom 7 - large en suite room with kingsize bed, bath and shower.

  • Bedroom 8 - en suite double room with shower.

  • Bedroom 9 - twin room with beds that can be zipped together to create a kingsize bed.

  • Bedroom 10 - en suite double room with bath and shower attachment.
